In our very first meeting with Allison, she told us that she knew she wanted to have a formal look and a casual look for her engagement session. And she really wanted us to shoot their formal look at Squire Creek. Naturally, this was music to our ears. We LOVE the Squire Creek Country Club, so we were definitely excited for the day of their shoot. And it was everything we hoped for!

Allison also had the idea to incorporate their wedding colors into their engagement shoot It worked out brilliantly. She wore an elegant, dusty blue dress from Lulus and Hunter opted for a navy blue suit. We started off on the pathway leading up to the club house to take advantage of the wonderful landscaping, before we moved on to the entryway and front porch. And it was obvious how much these two love each other. It was simply wonderful photographing them. Of course, you don’t have to take our word for it, we have proof!

 

They were just getting warmed up though. Before we left Squire Creek, Hunter suggested we stop by the orchards and snap a few photos. So we did. No big deal, really . . . except these two absolutely ROCKED IT again!

But wait! There’s more!

And they still weren’t finished! Both Allison and Hunter graduated from Tech, so to round things out we took a trip to the Louisiana Tech football field. Nothing says “Go Dawgs!” quite like the logo on the 50 yard line in Joe Aillet Stadium. They snuggled (it was a little chilly, lol), they danced to Spotify, and everything was beautiful!

These two were an absolute dream to photograph. You could just feel how much they cared for each other. Not to mention that Squire Creek and the Tech Football field were the perfect locations. We always encourage our couples to pick looks and locations that fit their personalities. Allison and Hunter are a great example of why.
