I can’t say enough nice things about these two people. Ever since I met Lauren and Aaron, I have wanted to photograph their bees. I am, what they call, a wannabe homesteader, but these two people are the real deal. As a massage therapist, Aaron was looking to make his own lotions using beeswax. Being disappointed in the industry’s standards, he decided to make his own beeswax. He dove in head first into learning about the world of bees and started producing his own honey. Aaron has been in the bee business since 2012. He married Lauren in 2015 and together they produce excellent quality honey in their top bar hives. You can find their honey at the Ruston & Shreveport farmers market, local grocery stores and coming soon at Whole Foods in Shreveport.
